Walked into the Rockwell after my lunch break today and the first thing I saw was a helium filled motor powered shark that was “swimming” in the air above my head.

This is why I love my job and I love Point Park.

The life of a college student:

• Walked to the 24/7 store down the street at midnight in the rain
• Purchased two cans of Spaghetti-O’s and two packages of chicken flavor ramen
• Came back and realized that I didn’t own a can opener, so I used my multi-tool

Things I Will Miss When I Leave:

• Spending lazy summers adventuring around the island and finding new beaches to have picnics at
• Day trips to College Park to go to IKEA, the record/movie store, and the Vietnamese noodle place
• Coffee from Shore Stop at 2 a.m.
• Going to downtown Annapolis on rainy days for crepes or Chick n’ Ruth’s
• Driving on the “roller coaster” past the Mormon church that looks like Oz at night
• The good deals we get on equipment from Kinetic Artistry
• Going to Chinatown in D.C. for a late night snack on Christmas
• Taking the back roads through Laurel so I can pass my grandparents’ old house
• Driving the entire lighting crew home at 3 a.m. in winter with the windows down so that they don’t fog up
• Leaving downtown Annapolis at night and driving across the Naval Academy Bridge
• Walks at Terrapin park or just relaxing with you
• Stupid antics with Noah and Kim
• Kent Island sunsets when the breeze is just right and the porch swing squeaks
• Napping on the couch with the dogs while watching CSI

Moving to Pittsburgh tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited.

Let’s just hope my bad luck doesn’t get me really lost while exploring the city.
