I’m leaving a handful of great things and people behind for a couple months, I just hope they’re all still here when I come back.

I can’t wait to hear the train again…

I think I found my perfect Pittsburgh fixie buddy. He also owns a Mercier Kilo and two other bikes along with this one. Harumphhh.

At work

Obnoxious fancy people, who are slightly drunk, standing around the lobby of Lawrence who won’t get the hell out of my way and let me through the door. Lady desperately digging through trash cans by the park and trying to tip them over. Shuttle driver dressed up, including a tie, for no particular reason (he was also standing by the shuttle as if it was some amazing car). People j-walking from the 24-hour store.

• Beautiful thunderstorm this morning during my psychology class - the thunder shook the whole building
• Pictures of raccoons, bulldogs, and meerkats in the powerpoint my professor used
• Brunch with Mike then sat outside with him for a bit
• Almost died on the bus to Southside
• Third tattoo with Layden
• Bomb threat on campus so we were avoiding going back
• Stopped in the Culture Shop
• Very early dinner/late lunch at Bruegger’s
• Caught up on some much-needed sleep and dreamt of you for the first time. Unexpected but welcome? I’m not quite sure if it will hurt or help in the long run.
• Probably going to sleep for the night

It was a little awkward today when a picture of a seagull riding a turtle was in my “visual research” folder for scenic design

I’m almost positive that funny seagull pictures and Angels In America are not related.

“So then I was considering incorporating woven materials into the design and oops, that would be a picture of a seagull…”
